Blocks Galore

July is here and I'm finishing up June bee blocks, oops! Once again I find myself wishing I had more time to put these little babies together.  None the less, I completed them and will rush them into the mail.  Here's to June, see ya, now time to bask in July.

Hope you're having an amazing summer!

This is a great scrap buster block using freezer paper to make random sized squares.

June block for Julie was for me to make a tree for her neighborhood quilt.  I tried to make a tree within a tree. I embroidered a little peace into the mix. Peace, trees and leaves work together right?

Well, I needed to make a house for prsd4tim2 who also is making a neighborhood quilt. I tried to make one similar to an inspiration photo that was posted in Flickr.  I used beads for the door knobs.  The window is made of a heart since windows are the soul of a home.  I'm sending her a home filled with lots of love for her neighborhood quilt.

I made trees for her neighborhood as well. 'Tis the season for trees!

Oh, I made a rug mug too for my swap partner in Denmark.  She received it already so I can post it for yah'l. I played with curves again.  I'm digging that I learned how to sew with curves.  Yahoo!
